Exempting Charles Delafaye, taster of wines and other liquors, and surveyor of the outs and defects of the same, and Elizabeth Delafaye, his wife, housekeeper and wardrobe-keeper of the royal houses and furniture in the Castle of Dublin and at Chapelizod, from the duty of 4s. in the £. Jan. 27 Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to the Commissioners of Customs. Authorising their acceptance of 120l. from Joshua Harle, as composition for his offence of running tea. With warrant from same to the Attorney General for entry of a noli prosequi to the information in the case.

Same from same to same - Authorising the distribution of the whole money recovered and in the sheriffs' hands on judgment against Edward Long for smuggling, amounting to 406l. 0s. 3d., one half towards His Majesty's part of the information, the other to the informers.

Jan. 27 Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to the Commissioners of Customs. Consenting to the allowance of 20l. per annum to Jacob Bury, as deputy customer of the port of Harwich, in such years as the fees amounted to more, and when less, then he to have the fees. The same regulation to be revived with respect to those patent officers whose patents are now subsisting. Future customers, comptrollers, or searchers in the outports to receive their offices on the same condition.

Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to the Commissioners of Customs. Concerning an Order in Council, dated at St. James's, 1729–30, February 2, for discharging ships from quarantine on producing clean bills of health, the Levant Company having petitioned against the Order in Council of 1728, July 4, imposing the quarantine on account of the plague then raging in Turkey, and the Netherlands not having for some time past required quarantine to be performed by ships from the Levant.

To cause 500,000l. in Exchequer bills chargeable on the Malt Act for 1730, each bill containing 100l., to be placed as so much cash in the offices of the Tellers at the Receipt of Exchequer, to be thence issued for the public service; same to be numbered and registered, and the course of payment to be signified on each bill according to the said Act.
