July 22 Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to the Commissioners of Customs. To give the necessary orders to the Receiver General and Cashier of the Customs to pay to Robert Dinwiddie, Collector of the Customs for the Bermuda Islands, 30l. per annum from 1725, October 19, to Midsummer last; and to place said allowance thenceforward on the Plantation establishment.

Aug. 17 Warrant under the royal sign manual, countersigned by the Lords of the Treasury, to Lionel Cranfield, Duke of Dorset, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. For the inserting in the establishment of Ireland a pension of 300l. each to Lord Viscount Massareene and the Rev. Archibald Stewart, D.D., for them to apply same as they see fit for the maintenance and education of Christopher Fleming, Esq. only son of Wm. Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to the Commissioners of Excise. Authorising the release of Stephen Dalton, prisoner in Lincoln city, for arrears of duty on starch warrants, he having been in prison since 1726, August, and there being no probability of his paying.

Sept. 29 Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to Sir Philip Yorke, Attorney General. Requiring him to acknowledge satisfaction on the record of the judgment against Moses Nicholls, fined 10l. at the sessions at Hicks' Hall, 1728, August 26, for exposing for sale two carcases of beef being corrupt and unwholesome flesh; prisoner being in a starving condition in Newgate and utterly unable to pay the fine. Sept. 30 Same from same to the Auditor of the Receipt. To distribute and apply the income of the Aggregate Fund for the quarter ending 1730, Michaelmas, to the uses specified in the Acts of Parliament in that behalf.

To send to the proper auditor for a parti cular of a messuage on the west side of St. James's Street, or to make forth a constat and rate same, in order to the passing a lease under the Exchequer Seal to Francis White, for 46 years from 1734, Lady Day, at a reserved ground rent of 2s. 6d. in the £ on 40l. reported as the yearly value of the premises, and fine of 150l.

Oct. 7 Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to the Surveyor General. For a particular, &c. of three messuages in or near Jermyn Street, in order to the passing a new lease thereof, under the Exchequer Seal, to Wm. Sandys for 39½ years from 1740, Michaelmas, at a reserved ground rent of 2s. 6d. in the £ on 70l. rental, and fine of 150l.
