Oct. 14.]The royal warrant of the 14th inst., read and entered, granting licence to Prince Rupert to transport two horses to Germany. Order to the Customs officers to observe same. [Ibid, X. p. 285.]
Oct. 25. Petition from Thomas Legg, senior, of London, cordwainer, concerning the trial had in Trinity Term last in the Office of Pleas before the Barons of the Exchequer between Ralph Mosse, plaintiff, and petitioner, defendant, concerning calf skins seized by plaintiff. With Treasurer Southampton's minute. "The matter in question having been layed before the Barons I shall not order the stay of judgment or execution. If the petitioner thinke fit he may move the Court herein." [Early Entry Book X. p. 286.]
