Forth's Mortgage.

SIR John Knight reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for making good a Mortgage made by Alderman John Forth, deceased, and for making Provision for his Son, was committed, several Amendments, agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where they were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Papists not to sit in Parliament.

A Bill for hindering Papists to sit in either House of Parliament, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Tho. Clerges, Sir John Trevor, Sir Hen. Ford, Colonel Birch, Mr. Powle, Sir Tho. Meeres, Sir John Birkenhead, Sir Wm. Lowther, Mr. Hopkins, Sir Geo. Reeves, Sir Wm. Hickman, Lord Ancram, Mr. Whorwood, Sir Winston Churchill, Mr. Vaughan, Sir Rich. Corbet, Sir Edw. Deering, Mr. Burlace, Mr. Mallet, Sir Rob. Markham, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Mr. Harbord, Sir Ch. Wheeler, Sir John Hotham, Sir John Mallet, Sir Fr. Russell, Sir Jos. Tredenham, Mr. Secretary Williamson, Sir Sam. Bernardiston, Mr. Sachaverell, Serjeant Rigby, Lord Castleton, Sir Tho. Meeres, Lord Cavendish, Sir Gilbert Talbot, Sir Eliab Harvy, Mr. Swinfen, Sir Wm. Thompson, Sir Ph. Monckton: And all that come are to have Voices: And they are to meet To-morrow, at Two of the Clock, in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Supply Bill; Disbanding the Forces.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Bill for raising Two hundred thousand Pounds for Paying and Disbanding the Forces that have been raised since the Twenty-ninth of September last.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir John Trevor took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir John Trevor reports from the said Committee, That they had gone through the Bill; and perfected the same.

Ordered, That the Report of the said Bill be received To-morrow Morning Ten of the Clock.

Disposition of Grants.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to take the Accounts of the Disbursements of the Two hundred thousand Pounds, charged upon the Credit of the Act for the additional Excise, do sit To-morrow Morning at Eight of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.


Ordered, That all Committees be revived; and do sit on Friday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Places formerly appointed.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
