Clothmaking.

A BILL for regulating the making of Cloth, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Solo. Swale, Sir John Knight, Colonel Reames, Colonel Gray, Mr. Spry, Mr. Otway, Sir Jonath, Trelawny, Sir Wm. Killegrew, Col. Titus, Sir Charles Harbord, Sir John Brampston, Sir John Heath, Sir Wm. Coventry, Colonel Deveraux, Mr. Love, Mr. Hide, Sir John Lowther, Mr. Morris, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Edm. Windham, Mr. Marley, Sir Tho. Allen, Colonel Birch, Sir Wm. Lewis, Sir Robert Atkins, Mr. Onslow, Mr. Crouch, Colonel Rigby, Mr. Jones, Colonel Windham, Sir Wm. Thompson: And all that come are to have Voices: And they are to inspect the several Acts in being, relating to Trade: And they are to meet on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

And it is referred to Sir Wm. Lewis, Sir Cha. Harbord, Colonel Reames, Mr. Rigby, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Jonath. Trelawny, Sir Wm. Killegrew, Mr. Deveraux, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir John Cotton, Sir John Pettus; or any Three of them: And they are to meet on Monday next at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber:

Hemp and Flax planting.

A Bill for planting of Hemp and Flax, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time, on Monday next.

Plantation Trade.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to inspect the Act of Navigation; and to bring in a Bill for preserving and improving the Plantation Trade.

And it is referred to Sir Geo. Downing, Col. Birch, Mr. Love, Col. Titus, Sir Edw. Massey, Sir Rich. Temple, Sir Cha. Harbord, Sir Wm. Thompson, Col. Reames, Sir Wm. Coventry; or any Three of them: And they are to meet on Monday next at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Importing Corn.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to inspect the Act against importing foreign Corn; and to consider of the Motion made for preventing the bringing in Corn upon Horses from Scotland.

And it is referred to Sir Solo. Swale, Sir Rich. Temple, Mr. Deveraux, Sir Phil. Musgrave, Sir Wm. Coventry, Col. Kirtby, Col. Birch, Sir John Lowther, Sir John Pettus, Lord Allington, Col. Gray, Lord Ancram, Sir Cha. Harbord, and all the Members that serve for the Northern Counties; and the Members of Norfolk and Suffolk: And they are to meet on Monday next at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records: And to report the State of the Matter, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Liverpoole Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do certify the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, of the Death of Mr. Stanley, who lately served as Member of this House for the Borough of Liverpoole in the County of Lancaster; desiring him, that a Writ may issue forth under the Great Seal, for the Election of a Burgess for the said Borough, to serve in this present Parliament, in his place and stead.

Supply.

The House then took his Majesty's Speech; and the Speech delivered by his Command by the Lord Keeper: Which being again read;

Resolved, upon the Question, Nemine contradicente, That the King be supplied, proportionable to his present Occasions.

Estimates.

Ordered, That a List be brought in, of the particular Debts of his Majesty, at Interest, by the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury, on Monday next.

Ordered, That an Estimate be brought in by the Treasurers of the Navy, on Monday next, of the Charge of the Navy; and the Time for which it is made.

Committees.

Resolved, That all Committees that were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned till Monday next.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight of the Clock.
