Preb. held manor of Givendale (G. Lawton, Collectio Rerum Ecclesiasticarum de Diocesi Eboracensi (1842) p. 339) and 1 car. in Upper Poppleton (YMF I no. 31).

Vicars Choral no. 72). Went to Rome over el. of abp. 1214 (Rot. Litt. Claus. I 180; cf. Rot. Litt. Pat. p. 141). Transf. to preb. Fenton, prob. 1218 × 19 (list 25).

[John de Colonna son of Landulf

This preb. assigned to his proctor, Bartholomew de Ferentino, in succession to Guy de Boys, 8 Feb. 1293 (Reg. Romeyn II 15). Evidently ineffective. Same proctor was offered and refused preb. Holme 30 Sept. 1294 (list 29). Claimed preb. Masham 1298 (list 34). Also claimed a preb. in Lincoln (see 1 Fasti III 82 and for details of his family).]

Amadeus of St John (fn. 165)

This preb. assigned to him by abp. on papal authority, with mandate to induct, 30 Apr. 1293 (Reg. Romeyn II 16). Transf. to preb. Weighton, in possession before 12 May 1299 (list 46).

M. William of Pickering
