At a visitation in 1718, the dean and chapter reported that there had been no collation to it since 1660 (Lincoln Cath. Statutes III 656).

It was reported 2 May 1665 that the £7 annuity or annual pension and other dues payable to the chapter under the agreement of 1548 had not been paid recently; the chapter agreed for the dean to obtain a copy of the deed of sate from the court of chancery where it was enrolled and to show it to counsel learned in the law, to be advised what legal course should be taken for the recovery of the dues (A/3/9 f. 245).
