The draught of a report to the Lords of the Committee of Council for Plantation Affairs upon the petition of Reuben Cognehew, a Mohegan Indian, having been prepared pursuant to order, was agreed to, transcribed and signed.

Read a letter from William Bull, Esquire, Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina, to the Board, dated June 30th, 1760, giving a full account of the progress of the Indian war.
Ordered, that the Solicitor and Clerk of Reports do, in the absence of the Secretary, transmit an extract of so much of the said letter, as relates to the intelligence received by Lieutenant Governor Bull of the state of the French and Spanish garrisons at Mobile and Pensacola, to Mr. Wood, Secretary to Mr. Pitt, for Mr. Pitt's information.
