[f. 127] In the parish of St. Lawrence in Jury

704. [1197–1221] grant by Peter prior and convent to Robert le Curteis (Curteys) son of Robert and Margaret his wife daughter of Robert de Bensted of land in the parish and street of St. Lawrence Jewry (apud Judaismum), which land was given to Holy Trinity by William son of Sabeline, in free alms, and the land next to the land of Robert le Curteis on the north, containing in depth 18½ ells and in width along the street 6½ ells 2 digits and in width towards the west 6½ ells 2 digits; rent 4s. p.a.; if the grantees wish to sell the land, the canons to have the preference by 1 gold bezant; swore fealty; gersuma 2 gold bezants; witnesses, Walter Guile, William Bonvalet.

III as appears in Acquittance Four (fn. 1) of several parishes; William Kyng, 32 Ed. III; Stephen Kyng, 42 Ed. III; his widow, 8 Ric. II: after Nicholas Reigate; Nicholas his son, 32 and 42 Ed. III; John Bosheham, 8 Ric. II.
