Williams's Bill.

The Lord Steward reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for enabling Sir Trevor Williams and his Four Sons to make Jointures to their Wives; and having heard all Parties concerned, and received their Assents thereunto, do think the said Bill sit to pass as it is."

Then,

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Sir Trevor Williams Baronet and his Four Sons to make Jointures to their respective Wives."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Bedell's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the vesting of certain Manors and Lands of Edward Bedell, of Woodrising, in the County of Norfolk, Esquire, in certain Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of his Debts, and for raising of Portions for Diana Bedell, Isabella Bedell, and Anne Bedell, Infants, Daughters of the said Edward Bedell, and for such other Children as shall hereafter be begotten by the said Edward Bedell upon the Body of Isabella Bedell his now Wife."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it; and that the Lords have passed Williams's.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir William Beversham and Sir John Hoskins:

To deliver them the Bill concerning Edward Bedell, and desire their Concurrence thereunto; also to acquaint them, that the Lords have passed the Bill concerning Sir Trevor Williams.

Seamen and Watermen Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the Encouragement and Breeding up of Seamen, and the better ordering of Watermen rowing upon the River of Thames."

Bill against incestuous Marriages.

Hodie 1 vice lecta est Billa, "An Act against incestuous Marriages."

L. Morley's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the enabling the Right Honourable Thomas Lord Morley and Mounteagle, Baron of Rye, to make Sale of the Manor of Farelton, and certain Lands and Hereditaments in Farelton, in the County of Lancaster, for Payment of Debts."

Bill for more effectual Conviction of Popish Recusants.

Their Lordships, or any Five; to meet To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn from Time to Time.

The House was adjourned into a Committee, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill for the more effectual Conviction and Prosecution of Popish Recusants.

The House was resumed.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Trevor and others; who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing of Jacob David and others;" wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

Bill for more effectual Conviction of Popish Recusants.

The House was again adjourned into a Committee, to proceed in the aforesaid Bill.

The House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have proceeded in Consideration of the Bill for the more effectual Conviction and Prosecution of Popish Recusants, but have not gone through it; therefore the Committee desires the House would appoint another Time, when the House shall be put into a Committee again, to proceed in the said Bill."

And the House ordered To-morrow Morning for that Purpose.

Adjourn.
