Hampden versus Hampden.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Edmund Hampden, Eldest Son and Heir of Edmund Hampden, late of Great Missendon, in the County of Bucks, Esquire, deceased, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Eighth Day of December last, for the affirming of a Decree of the Master of the Rolls, of the Twelfth of December One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seven, on the Behalf of Richard Hampden; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Richard Hampden may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Monday the Fourteenth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven a Clock.

Muirheid versus Muirheid.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, wherein Rose Muirheid is Appellant, and James Muirheid Respondent, on Saturday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act, made in the Seventh and Eighth Years of the Reign of His late Majesty King William, intituled, An Act for the repairing the Highways between Wymondham and Attleborough, in the County of Norfolke; and for including therein the Road leading from Wymondham to Hethersett, over the Commons belonging to the said Towns;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

B. Plimouth Bill.

After reading, and considering, the Report of Mr. Baron Price and Mr. Justice Dormer, to whom was referred the Consideration of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to vest the Estates, which came to the Right Honourable Other Earl of Plimouth by his Mother, in Trustees, to be sold; and to enable him to cut Coppices, for raising Money, to pay off Debts charged upon his Paternal Estate:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill be read a Second Time.

Coldham's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Sale of certain Lands and Annuities, late the Estate of John Coldham, of Tooting-Graveney, Esquire, deceased, for raising of Portions for his Grandchildren, according to his Will."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Tuesday the Twenty-second Day of this Instant March, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Bagott's Bill.

The Earl of Sunderland, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State, by Her Majesty's Command, presented to the House a Bill, intituled, "An Act for Reversal of the Outlawry of Elianor Bagot, the Wife of John Bagott," signed by Her Majesty.

Johnson and Goswell discharged.

After reading the Petition of Cornelius Johnson and Joseph Goswell; praying to be discharged from the Restraint they lie under, in having arrested Richard Butler, menial Servant to the Right Honourable the Lord Stawell, and shewing their Sorrow for their Offence; who being sent for to the Bar, and reprimanded on their Knees:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Cornelius Johnson and Joseph Goswell shall be, and they are hereby, discharged, paying their Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir David Mitchell, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, and every of them.

E. Plimouth's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to vest the Estates, which came to the Right Honourable Other Earl of Plimouth by his Mother, in Trustees, to be sold; and to enable him to cut Coppices, for raising Money, to pay off Debts charged upon his Paternal Estate."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom Coldham's Bill stands committed.
