Earl of Sussex's Privilege. Brockett arrested.

The Petition of William Brockett was read; shewing, That he, being Servant to the Earl of Sussex, he and his Goods were arrested on Our-Lady-day last, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament. That he made it appear unto the Serjeant and others who arrested, and do now detain him, that he was Servant to the said Earl of Sussex, and yet he is detained Prisoner, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament, in The Compter, Poultry, London."

The Earl of Sussex affirmed Brockett to be his Servant.

Ordered, A Habeas Corpus cum Causa, etc. to be awarded to the Sheriff of London, ret. immediate, to bring the said William Brockett before their Lordships.

Raleigh's Restitution in Blood.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for Restitution in Blood of Carewe Raleigh, Son of Sir Walter Raleigh, Knight, late attainted of High Treason.

Memorandum, He took the Oaths, and delivered a Certificate that he received the Communion, etc.

This Bill is respited till Saturday next, at the Earl of Bristol's Motion, pro Sherbourne.

Earl of Warwick's Privilege. His Ship The Great Neptune's Attachment discharged.

This Day Sir Andrewe Grey, Knight, and Tynker the Water Bailiff, were brought before the Lords, to answer their Contempts, for attaching of the Earl of Warwicke's Ship, called The Great Neptune; and for that it appeared the said Attachment was against the Privilege of Parliament, it was Ordered, The said Attachment to be discharged, and the said Ship to be free from the same.

Grey and Tynker discharged.

Sir Andrewe Grey was reprehended for his Contempt, and he and Tynker discharged, &c.

Making Arms serviceable.
