Henry Foyle, gent v John Sevier

February - April 1637

Abstract

Proceedings survive from February-April 1636/7, but they do not show either the cause or result of Foyle's complaint against Sevier.

Summary of proceedings

Dr Duck, Dr Eden and Dr Talbot acted as counsel. On 11 February 1637 a bond for £100 was mentioned and there were further proceedings on 16 February. On 29 April 1637 Sevier was to appear and respond to the libel.
