An uninscribed gold coin of 'British Q' type is recorded from the parish. (fn. 1)
On Nesley Farm (ST 854925), ploughing c. 1846 revealed an inscribed gabled tombstone. (fn. 2) Another tombstone of which no description survives is said to have been found near by. (fn. 3) An inscribed tombstone found on Bowldown Farm to the W. is noted under Westonbirt with Lasborough. Other finds from the parish include two fibulae from Chavenage (about ST 870955), one of them with an enamelled bird figure. (fn. 4)
