A burial in a stone coffin, possibly Roman, was found in a garden (ST 75007266) near the manor house in 1935. (fn. 1)
The 'ancient earthwork' on Tog Hill (about ST 730721), described by Playne (fn. 2) and noted by Witts, (fn. 3) appears to comprise a low boundary bank, probably mediaeval, and several tracks.
