Feb. 1.
To the escheator in Salop. Order to seize into the king's hand a close called Pokmore which the abbot and convent of Wenloke have demised to farm for a set term to John Talbot of 'Halomshire 'knight it is said, and to safe keep the same and the issues thereof until further order; as strife and debate for the same has arisen between Thomas earl of Arundell and John Talbot, and the king's will is to guard against damage and peril which are like to happen thereby. Order to the sheriff of Suthampton for election of a coroner instead of William Drewe, who is too sick and aged to travail for exercise of that office.
