To the mayor of Bristol. Order of the king's compassion, upon petition of Gerard Fendeburgh master of a ship called 'la Victor' of Sutfen in Gilderlond, shewing that the same was freighted at Bristol by James Usus Maris and Nicholas de Palme merchants of Gilderlond with merchandise to be taken to Lucebon in Portugal, and that by reason of the arrest and detention thereof they are fallen into poverty, to dearrest the said ship, suffering the master and merchants to pass therewith to Flanders, provided they pay any customs and subsidies due.
