lieutenant. Order by mainprise of Master Henry Bowet clerk to
set free Robert Foulmere clerk there imprisoned; as the said Henry
has mainperned body for body to have the said Robert before the
king and council day by day until Wednesday next to give information, and that he shall on that day return to prison at the king's

To the warden of the Flete prison or his representative there. Order
to set free Robert Twyer and Robert Clerk, impeached before the
council for rebellions and misprisions committed in Holdernesse co.
York by them and other men and tenants of Queen Anne against the
king and the queen's ministers, and committed to the said prison;
as they have made humble submission to the king and queen, taking
upon them under a pain of 500l. to stir up the said men and tenants
to do the like, doing or procuring nought to the contrary, and to
render themselves before the council in the octaves of St. Hilary. |

lieutenant. Order by mainprise of Galtronus de Bardes, John Irlande
and John Gogard goldsmith to set free Henry Ferrers knight there
imprisoned; as they have mainperned body for body and under a
pain of 1,520 francs of gold that he shall pay that sum to the treasurer
before Christmas eve next, or shall then return to the Tower at the

by mainprise of Henry de Percy earl of Northumberland to deliver
to Nicholas de Skelton serjeant at arms to be brought before the king
and council, in order to give information to the king and the earl of
Northumberland in his name, Robert de Flynthalgh clerk imprisoned
in the said Maud's custody; as the earl has mainperned under a pain
of 300l. to have him before the king or elsewhere at the king's command
in the quinzaine of St. Hilary next to answer the said Maud and others

to give Thomas de Shardelowe knight and Margaret his wife, sister and
heir of Thomas Grey son and heir of Roger Grey, seisin of the lands

wardship; as she has proved her age before the escheator, and the
king has taken her husband's fealty. |

brought before the chancellor, in order to deal as the chancellor shall

To Robert Tresilian and David Haunemere justices appointed to
hold pleas before the king. Order by writ of nisi prius to command
that an inquisition which remains to be taken between the king and
John Croft of Herefordshire and Edmund de Brugge, whether Richard
Baskerville knight died seised of 60 acres of land and 300 acres of wood
called Westwode in Erdesley or long before his death gave the same
to the said Edmund and others, their heirs and assigns, be taken
before one of the justices. |
