To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of John Mersshe, Richard Kenebelle, John Lovel and John Raulyn of Middlesex, in favour of Roger Colney of Barnet at suit of John Strauston of London 'cordewaner' for an account.

To Nicholas Brembre mayor of London. Order by mainprise of William Asshebourne, Robert Shareshulle, Walter Watforde, Richard de Carlille and William Wytton of London and John Cokayn of Derbyshire to set free Robert Blakwode a native of Scotland, who has freely surrendered himself to prison at the king's will; as on his behalf it is shewn the king that he is his liege man, has long dwelt under that allegiance and purposes so to do, but that certain lieges, averring that he is a Scot and an adherent of the Scots, have threatened to take him prisoner; and the said William and the others have mainperned body for body and under a pain of 40l. for his good behaviour, and that he shall be ready before the king and council upon warning received to abide their ordinance touching whatsoever shall be laid against him.
