William Culham and John Wynslowe of London to John Chitterne clerk. Recognisance for 400l., to be levied etc. in the city of London.

Cancelled on payment.
Indenture of defeasance of the foregoing recognisance, upon condition that John Seint Johan shall pay a rent charge of 10l. a year, which he has granted to Walter Lokyngton clerk of the manor of Yenstowe co. Devon, in the New Temple church at London at Easter and Michaelmas or within fifteen days after by even portions; with covenant that when the recognisance shall be put in execution the rent charge shall cease. Dated 20 January 8 Richard II. French.

John Leycestre citizen and merchant of London to John Ogham and Elizabeth his wife. Gift during the said Elizabeth's life of a yearly rent of 5 marks to be taken of all his lands and tenements in 'Thamysestrete' in the parish of St. Lawrence Pulteney in Dougateward London; and he has put them in seisin by payment of 12d., Sir Nicholas Brembre knight being then mayor of London, Nicholas Exton and John Frosshe sheriffs and Richard Preston alderman of the ward. Witnesses: Edmund Olyver, Nicholas Snypston, Ralph Lobenham. Dated London, 12 January 8 Richard II.

Order by mainprise of Charles de Beumont, Poncius sire de Castelhon, John de Gremont vicomte of Dort and Garcias Arnald of Salmys to set free Theobald de Podio Alto, imprisoned in the Tower at the king's command; as they have mainperned body for body that without special licence of the king he shall not depart to foreign parts, but shall ever be ready at the king's pleasure to answer before the king and council or before the justices touching whatsoever shall be laid against him.
John Gerveys of Beverley merchant to Sir Richard de Ravenser archdeacon of Lincoln, Thomas de Watton, Thomas Gerveys of Beverley and Paul de Butteby of Beverley, their heirs and assigns.
