Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 40l., made in chancery 22 June this year by John Wodecok citizen and mercer of London, John Michel serjeant at arms, Richard Cliderhowe esquire and John Elyngeham serjeant at arms for the prior of St. Bartholomew Smythfelde London and John Raukedyche canon his fellow, that they shall do or procure no hurt or harm to John Heywarde vicar of St. Sepulchre without Neugate London.
Memorandum of a like mainprise, mutatis mutandis, that day made by Thomas Appultrewyke, John Deyster, John Barbour and William Ferrour of London for the said John Heyward in regard to the said prior, his canons, menor servants.
Memorandum of a like mainprise, mutatis mutandis, under pain of 100 marks, that day made by William Pever, Henry Grene, John Standelfe and John Osborne of London for William Grantham in regard to John Eyr.
Anne late the wife of Robert Passelee knight to Robert Lyndeseye citizen of London, Master Walter Raufe and John Loughwyke yeoman of the king's robes. Attornment in respect of a yearly rent of 9 marks, 2lb. of pepper and three quarters of salt issuing from the manor of Frensshecourt, with wards, marriages, reliefs, escheats and heriots to that manor belonging when they shall fall in, the said manor lying in the parishes of Holyngton, Farlegh and St. Andrew Hastynges co. Sussex, which rent the said Anne holds for life with reversion to Robert son of Robert her husband, and Robert the son has granted the reversion thereof to Robert Lyndeseye and the others, their heirs and assigns; and she has put them in possession of the same by payment of 12d. Dated 11 June 20 Richard II.
