Westminster.
To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of their demand upon Philip la Vache knight of the king's chamber, William Sturmy knight, John Chitterne one of the clerks of chancery and the executors of Robert de Cherlton late chief justice of the Common Bench to deliver in chancery the recognisances hereinafter mentioned; as the king appointed the said Robert, Philip, William and John in his name to take a recognisance for 20,000l. which the then mayor and the commonalty of New Sarum would make to the king and his heirs for themselves, their heirs and successors, according to certain judgments rendered by the king and council by virtue of a submission made by John late bishop of Salisbury and them touching divers alleged disseisins, disherisons, violences, damages, wrongs etc. by the bishop done to them and their predecessors, and a like recognisance which the mayor and commonalty would make to the bishop, the dean and chapter and to their successors, also recognisances which two hundred men in that city, whose names are upon a schedule sent to the said Robert and the others enclosed in letters under the king's privy seal, would make to the late bishop, each for 1,000l., but those commissioners took no such recognisance, as it is witnessed before the king and council. William son of Robert de Marny knight (militis) to Joan de Bohun countess of Hereforde, William Darondell knight, Robert Teye and Robert Rykedoun, both of Essex. Gift, for a sum of money beforehand paid, of all his goods and chattels within the realm, moveable and immovable. Dated 26 May 20 Richard II.

To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas, and order by mainprise of Henry Grene 'golsmyth,' Thomas Doncastre 'copresmyth,' Robert Doncastre 'copresmyth' and John Bayllif 'lorymer' of the city of London to set free John Est 'bruer,' if taken at suit of William Neuport averring threats.

Writ of supersedeas, and order by mainprise of John Tregous of London 'taillour,' John Childe of 'Fletstrete,' John Middelton 'taillour' and John Biggeneye 'taillour,' both of London, to set free Edmund de Blakebourne of London 'taillour,' if taken at suit of Elizabeth Haukeston averring threats.

To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against Henry Kele, appointed with others to make inquisition in Warwickshire what waste of woods, deer and conies was made within the king's park of Cheylesmore, and what misprisions, dilapidations and extortions were committed within the precinct of the manor there, and how, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as that commission was not delivered to the said Henry, as he has made oath in chancery.

Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against Hugh la Zouche knight, appointed with others by letters patent of 28 May 15 Richard II a justice to make inquisition by whose default the walls, dikes, gutters, sewers, bridges, causeways and weirs between the rivers of Wysebeche and Welle on the borders of Cambridgeshire and Norffolk were so broken, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as that commission was not delivered to the said Hugh, as John Brunne the younger and Robert Scot have made oath in chancery.

Writ of supersedeas until the quinzaine of Michaelmas next in respect of their demand upon Henry Mulsho late escheator in Norhamptonshire to answer or account for the issues or farm of the manor of Burton by Thyngden; as a plea is pending in the king's court between the king and Robert bishop of London, Gerard Braybroke the elder and Baldwin Pygot knights, whether that manor ought to pertain to the king or to them.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 200 marks, made in chancery 18 April this year by John Meysy of Wiltesir, John West of Yorkshire, John Wyghtrynge of Kent, Richard Vyvean of Cornwall, Richard Kynge of the Isle of Wyght and William Redynge of London, to have Alan Sainjust in chancery three weeks after Easter next.
Geoffrey Newenton citizen of London and Robert de Gerlethorp clerk to John de Worth knight, William de Fulbourne and John de Carleton clerks, Simon de Burgh and Roger Foljaumbe esquires, John Organ and Simon Bernewelle citizens of London, their heirs and assigns. Release of all actions and demands in all the manors of Grauncestre and Berton co. Cantebrigge which were of Bartholomew Burgherssh knight, and quitclaim of all reversions, rents, services etc. in the town of Cotes and elsewhere in that county pertaining to the said manors, which John de Worth and the others have by feoffment of the said Geoffrey and Robert. Witnesses: Henry Englissh, Roger Harleston, John Brunne, John de Grauncestre, John Morice, Thomas Warde, Thomas Wyvelyngham, John Marchal, Thomas Tryvet. Dated Grauncestre, 2 April 9 Richard II.
Geoffrey Newenton and Robert Gerlethorp (as above) to Thomas Salman. Letter of attorney, appointing him to deliver to John de Worth knight (and others above named) seisin of their manors of Grauncestre and Berton, and of all reversions, rents, services etc. in Cotes and elsewhere to the same pertaining. Dated Grauncestre, Wednesday after the Annunciation 9 Richard II.
