April 10.
Westminster.
To the sheriff of Middlesex. Writ of supersedeas omnino, by mainprise of Richard Aleyn, Reynold Deuyas, John Bytule and Henry Swayne, all of London, in respect of taking from Henry Cornewayle of Westminster 'bocher' any security for keeping the peace toward Peter Playsforde, William Causton and John Berker or any other of the people.
April 10.
Westminster.
To the sheriff of Salop. Writ of supersedeas omnino in favour of William Worthyn of Salop, who on 14 July 21 Richard II before William Brampton then mayor of the staple of Westminster, deputed to take recognisances of debts therein, made a recognisance to William Horscroft citizen and skinner of London for 61l. payable at Michaelmas then next, although at suit of William Horscroft the king after ordered the sheriff to take and imprison the body of William Worthyn, if a layman, until he should pay that debt, causing his lands and chattels to be extended and appraised, and to be seized into the king's hands in order to be delivered to William Horscroft until thereof contented, and certifying in chancery at a set day how he executed that writ; as William Horscroft appearing in person in chancery has acknowledged that he is contented of the said debt with damages and costs, delivering the recognisance to William Worthyn in name of acquittance.

To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against Robert Markeley serjeant at arms, appointed with others to make inquisition in Somerset and Dorset concerning great quantities of divers wines and merchandise, goods and chattels to no small value there which pertain to the king as wreck and otherwise, and are by divers evildoers taken and carried away, and concerning divers merchants and others who in divers ports and places have laded in ships and taken over in great quantities to Flanders, Normandy and other forbidden parts wool, hides, woolfells, tin, lead and other wares to the staple pertaining, which ought to be taken to Calais and nowhere else, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as that commission was not delivered to the said Robert, as he has made oath in chancery.

Quitclaim of the manor of Dedham co. Essex, and of a messuage and 8 acres of meadow in Dedham, with the knights' fees, wards, marriages, reliefs, escheats, suits of court, etc., which they had by feoffment of Henry Cokham parson of St. Mary 'atte Hille' London, John Wade citizen of London and Henry Dalby.
