1. Henry Lord Hastings to the Earl of Devonshire. Thanks for his letters, and wishes he were in his company. The King's return to England has been long looked for.

Venice.
2. Peter Vannes to same. Has heard of his arrival at Padua. Invites him to come to Venice on the next day, when there was to be a grand public ceremony.

3. John Blount to same. Commends the bearer, who brings news from his Lordship's mother and Lady Bartley [Berkeley]. The weather has been exceedingly severe.
