Woollen Manufacturers, &c. Bill.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Bill, intituled, An Act for the continuing an Act made in the First Year of Her Majesty's Reign, for the more effectual preventing Abuses and Frauds of Persons employed in the working up the Woollen, Linen, Fustian, Cotton, and Iron Manufactures of this Kingdom," shall be read the Second Time on Monday the Seventeenth Instant.
Poulterers Pet. versus Game Bill:
Upon reading the Petition of the Master, Wardens, and Assistants of Poulterers, London, in Behalf of themselves and the rest of the Poulterers in and about the Cities of London and Westm'r, under their Common Seal; praying to be heard, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Preservation of the Game:"
Rejected.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, rejected.
Thread-lacemakers, &c. against the Bill for taking off the Prohibition of Foreign Lace.
Upon reading the Petition of several Buyers and Makers of English Lace, in Behalf of themselves and many others; praying to be heard, to a Clause in the Bill, intituled, "An Act to repeal all the Laws prohibiting the Importation of Foreign Lace made of Thread:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, at the Bar, by their Counsel, on Saturday next, at Twelve a Clock; and that the Lords be summoned to attend.
The Lord Keeper reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address of both Houses of Parliament, as follows; (videlicet,)
Queen's Answer to Address concerning the Union.
"My Lords, and Gentlemen,
"I am glad to find your Opinion so perfectly agrees with Mine, concerning this Union.
"You cannot do Me a more acceptable Service, than by using your utmost Endeavours to improve all the good Consequences of it."

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Address of both Houses of Parliament, presented to Her Majesty Yesterday, and Her Majesty's most Gracious Answer thereunto, shall be forthwith printed and published.
Cole & al. versus Godfrey:
After hearing Counsel, the Seven and Twentieth Day of February last and this present Day, upon the Petition and Appeal of Anne Cole Widow and Harry Cole Esquire, her Son, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, by the Master of the Rolls, the One and Thirtieth of May One Thousand Seven Hundred and Four, and an Order of the Seventh of March following, and Proceedings thereupon; as also upon the Answer of Mercy Godfrey, Executrix of William Godfrey, who was Executor of Henry Godfrey Gentleman, deceased, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:
Judgement affirmed, with Costs.
It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Anne Cole Widow and Harry Cole her Son shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree, Orders, and Proceedings, therein complained of shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed: And it is further Ordered, That the said Anne Cole and Harry Cole shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Mercy Godfrey, the Sum of Ten Pounds, for her Costs, in this Appeal.
Adjourn.
