Bedford, took away 20 horses, 16 mares, 10 colts, 60 oxen, 50 cows, 20 bullocks, 300 sheep and 200 swine of his, worth 200l., mowed his crops, carried away his corn and goods, assaulted his servants and took from them some writs of the king which he had sued forth and trampled them under foot. Huntingdon, took away 22 horses, 2 bulls, 29 oxen and 15 cows of his, worth 100 marks, with other cattle which they drove to unknown places so that they could not be found to be replevied according to law, and assaulted his servants. The like to John de Stonore, John de Pulteneye and William de Shareshull, on complaint by Henry de Harnhull that, whereas lately he, crossing from the county of Surrey between Windsor and the city of London along the bank of the Thames into the county of Middlesex for the purpose of using his right of fowling there, had given a falcon of his a cast at some ducks on the bank by Stanes, co. Middlesex, the said falcon in its eyre flew over to the county of Surrey where certain men who are accustomed by means of nets, engines and other methods to steal falcons when flying at the quarry, allured his said bird, worth 100 marks from him to Egham where they carried it away ; and on information that falcons belonging to the king, and to magnates and others of the realm have been stolen in like manner at the same place. This commission is to be executed in each of the above counties. By K.

Appointment of Godfrey Folejaumbe, Nicholas de la Ford, Robert son of Richard Folejaumbe of Wormchulle and John atte Halle of Castelton to arrest whereever found and commit to prison Roger de Wandesleye lately committed to prison by William de Herle and other justices in eyre for divers felonies in the county of Derby, who is now out on bail and vagabond in that county where by means of pretended letters to arrest certain persons he is daily extorting money from many persons and committing other breaches of the peace.
