CHARITIES FOR THE POOR.

The rector, Dr. John Jeffrey, by will dated 1861 left £200 for the poor and Jane Evered, by deed of 1887, gave £100 for a distribution in cash or kind to six of the deserving poor. (fn. 1) The charities have since been combined but were not being distributed in 1989. (fn. 2)
