June 26.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Leycestershire. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with a moiety of the manor of Harthston and a 'holme' in Gnypton called 'Mylneholme,' delivering to John de Leeke esquire and Alice his wife any issues thereof taken; as the king has learned by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that Isabel who was wife of Humphrey Halughton esquire died thereof seised, that the same are held of the king as of the duchy of Lancaster, and that the said Alice is her sister and next heir, and of the age of fifty years and more.
To the escheator in Worcestershire. Like order concerning moieties of the manors of Crawneste and 'Ruggehalle,' and of a meadow in Crownest called 'Crownestmede,' all not held of the king.
To the escheator in Lincolnshire. Like order concerning a messuage, one bovate of land in Dalderby by Hornecastelle and the moiety of a messuage, 5 acres of land, 5 acres of meadow and 2d. of rent in Gunthorp, not held of the king.
June 13.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Notynghamshire. Order to take of Maud who was wife of Richard Stanap knight an oath etc., and in presence of John Stanap son of Richard son of the said Richard, being cousin and heir of his grandfather, or of his attorneys, to assign her dower.
To the escheator in Warwickshire. Order to assign dower to the said Maud, of whom the king has commanded the escheator in Notynghamshire to take an oath etc.
