Message from H. C. for a Conference, about the Declaration for the P. and Pss. of Orange to be King and Queen; and about the Oaths.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Wharton and others:

To desire a Conference, touching the Subject-matter of the Two Messages sent to them Yesterday.

The Answer returned was:

That the Lords will give a Conference, as is desired; and appoints the same to be presently, in the Painted Chamber.

Report of the Conference.

The Marquis of Winton reported, "That the Lords have met the Members of the House of Commons, at the Conference; who said, The Commons have agreed with their Lordships in the Two Oaths which are to be taken instead of the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance; and also in the Vote concerning the Prince and Princess of Orange to be declared King and Queen of England, and all the Dominions thereunto belonging, with some Alterations and Amendments; to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired."

The said Amendments were read.

And it is ORDERED, That this House will take them into Consideration To-morrow Morning, the First Business.
