'Entrenchments', from which Camp Farm (SP 142206) presumably takes its name, are said to have existed in the area SP 143208. (fn. 1) Irregular but natural ridging (fn. 2) of the fairly steep S. side of the Windrush valley, immediately on the N., may have prompted the identification. Roman coins found in the same area may come from the long barrow a little E. of Camp Farm (SP 14342064). (fn. 3)
