Entry S, a surgeon, apprentice to Mr Gerard, was alleged to have given Jone Cottman (wife of Thomas C) a green powder, menses mouendos, vomit pills, laudano anodyno (for rest), and turbinth mineral; also to have let her blood - all for 16s. 6d. S was said to inspect urine, and to have treated Midlediche's man & Mrs Salter. He denied much of this.

Entry S, surgeon, of Ware, was accused by Mrs Williams of Petworth, who was staying at Mr Bolton's in Hosier Lane. She said S had given Bolton lettice water and sugar and pills, but B had died that night, and S had made off. S had been known to Peter Roswell and his wife, of Foster Lane, for 20 years. S was not present.
