Engagement with Dutch.
THE Lord Commissioner Whitelock reports from the Council of State, what Intelligence they have received touching an Engagement between the Fleet under Sir George Ayskue and the Dutch, begun on Monday last, about Three of the Clock.
Forfeited Estates.
The House this Day resumed the Debate upon the Amendments to the Additional Bill for Sale of several Lands and Estates forfeited to the Commonwealth, for Treason: Which Amendments were twice read; and several of them, upon the Question, agreed.
The Question being propounded, to agree to the Proviso in the Amendments, for cutting off all Reversions and Remainders upon Estates-Tails, which the Traitors, in this Bill named, could have docqued by Fine or Recovery;
The House was divided.

Resolved, That the Clause in the Amendments, touching the Proviso for forfeiting Powers of Revocation, be recommitted to the same Committee: And that they sit this Afternoon, and so de die in diem; with Power to send for, and confer with, any Persons, for their Information in and about this Bill: And that it be brought in on Tuesday Morning next.
