Letter reported.

MR. Scott reports from the Council of State, A Letter from the General, dated the Twenty-fourth of June 1650.

Norfolk Weavers.

Mr. Corbett reports Amendments to the Bill for regulating the Making of Stuffs in Norfolk and Norwich: Which were twice read.

The humble Petition of the Woolcombers, or Yarnmakers of the City and County of Norwich, and of the Counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge, &c. was this Day read.

The Amendments to the Bill, being put to the Question, were agreed.

Resolved, That this Act shall continue for Three Years, from the First of November 1650, and no longer.

Resolved, That the Bill, with these Amendments, and Proviso, be ingrossed.

Nominating Sheriffs.

Resolved, That Thursday-sevennight be appointed for the Business of Nominating of Sheriffs for the Counties: And that the Members of the House do then bring in the Names of fit Persons to be Sheriffs of the several Counties.

Lord Deincourt.

Resolved, That the Lord Deincourt's Bill be read on Thursday.

Lords of Liberties.

Resolved, That the Act for Lords of Liberties be read on Thursday next, the first Business.

Lyme Petition.

Resolved, That the Petition from Lyme be read on Tuesday next, the first Business.

Levant Trade.

Resolved, That Mr. Challoner do report the Business of the Levant Company on Thursday next.

Raising Money.

Colonel Downes reports from the Committee of the Army, A Bill for raising One hundred and Twenty thousand Pounds per mensem, for the Maintenance of the Armies in England and Ireland.

Which was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read on Thursday next.

Letters referred.

Resolved, That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider of the Letters from Mr. Nathaniel Barton, and Sir Arthure Hesilrige; to do therein what they shall find best for the Advantage of the State.
