Prayers.

Bristoll Rivers.

ORDERED, That these Members following be added to the Committee to which the Bill for making Rivers navigable between London and Bristoll was committed; viz. Sir Rich. Vivian, Sir Roger Bradshaigh, Sir Herbert Price, Mr. Leighton, Serjeant Littleton, Mr. Roger Vaughan, Mr. Waller, Sir Tho. Tompkins, Sir Rich. Oatley, Mr. Westphaling, Mr. Barnaby, Mr. Cornwall.

Debtors Relief.

A Bill for Relief of poor Prisoners was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Thursday next.

Hertfordshire Roads.

A Bill for Continuance of a former Act, as to the County of Hertford, for the repairing and maintaining the Highways, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to Lord Fanshaw, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir John Knight, Sir Tho. Allen, Colonel Sandys, Colonel Phillips, Sir Rich. Oatley, Sir Edm. Pooley, Mr. Pepis, Sir John Birkinhead, Sir Cha. Harbord, Mr. Dowdswell, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir Hen. Herbert, Sir John Denham, Sir John Shaw, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Jolly, Sir Ralph Hare, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir John Brampston, Sir John Coriton, Sir Wm. Gaudy, Sir Lanc. Lake, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir John Holland, Mr. Coventry, Mr. Rigby, Sir Tho. Wendy, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir Sol. Swale, Mr. Hoby, Sir Phil Warwick, Colonel Wanklyn, Sir Rich. Braham, Mr. Ratcliff, Sir Cliff. Clifton, and all the Members that serve for the several Counties of Norfolke, Suffolke, Cambridge, Lincolne, and Yorke: And they are to meet in the Speaker's Chamber, this Afternoon at Two of the Clock: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Retailers of Wine.

Mr. Seymour reports from the Committee to whom the Petition of several Persons, who have Letters Patents for selling Wine by Retale, was committed, That the Committee had considered of several Proposals and Expedients offered for Relief of the Petitioners; and for settling a Revenue of equal Value on his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke; and had agreed upon this Vote; viz.

That Forty Shillings a Ton Spanish, and Twenty Shillings French, be imposed as an additional Duty on Wines imported; to be in lieu of a Revenue to his Royal Highness for Settling of Wine Licences.

Which Vote being read;

Resolved, &c. That the Debate of the Matter, upon the Report from the Committee to which the Petition of several Persons, who have Letters Patents for selling Wine by Retale, was committed, be adjourned till Friday next; and then take into Consideration.

Carr's Estate.

A Bill for settling the Estate of Sir Robert Carr Baronet was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be read the Second time on Thursday next.

Supply Bill.

The House then resumed the Debate upon the Bill for his Majesty's Supply; and proceeded to the filling up the Blanks of the Rates for the several Counties.

The Question being put, That the Blank for the County of Bedford be filled up with the Sum of Eight hundred Ninety-six Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Nine-pence;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That the Blank for the County of Berks be filled up with the Sum of Eleven hundred Thirty-two Pounds Six Shillings and Seven-pence;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That the Blank for the County of Bucks be filled up with the Sum of Thirteen hundred Fifteen Pounds Six Shillings and Five-pence;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That the Blank for the County of Cambridge, and Isle of Ely, be filled up with the Sum of Thirteen hundred Sixty-nine Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Eleven-pence;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That the County of Chester, and the City of Chester, be joined in the Act of Assessment;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Chester, and the City of Chester, be filled up with the Sum of Eight hundred One Pounds Five Shillings and Six-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Cornwall be filled up with the Sum of Fifteen hundred Forty Pounds Eighteen Shillings and Three-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Cumberland be filled up with the Sum of One hundred Sixtyeight Pounds Six Shillings and One Penny.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Derby be filled up with the Sum of Eight hundred Sixtytwo Pounds Eight Shillings and Four-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Devon, and City of Exeter, be filled up with the Sum of Three-and-thirty hundred Forty-six Pounds Six Shillings and Eight-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Dorsett, and Town of Poole, be filled up with the Sum of Thirteen hundred Fifty-five Pounds Ten Shillings and One Peny.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Durham be filled up with the Sum of Three hundred Twenty-three Pounds Six Shillings and Nine-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Essex be filled up with the Sum of Three thousand Ninetyeight Pounds Eight Shillings and Ten-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Gloucester be filled up with the Sum of Eighteen hundred Eight Pounds Ten Shillings and Three-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the City, and County of the City, of Gloucester be filled up with the Sum of Thirty-nine Pounds Eight Shillings.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Hereford be filled up with the Sum of Eleven hundred Thirtyone Pounds Thirteen Shillings and Four-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Hertford be filled up with the Sum of Thirteen hundred Fortyfive Pounds Sixteen Shillings and Three-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Southampton, Town of Southampton, and Isle of Wight, be filled up with the Sum .. One-and-twenty hundred Eighty-nine Pounds Eight Shillings and Eight-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Huntington be filled up with the Sum of Six hundred Thirtythree Pounds Fourteen Shillings and Two-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Kent, and City of Canterbury, be filled up with the Sum of Three-and-thirty hundred Twenty-six Pounds Eighteen Shillings and Eight-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Lancaster be filled up with the Sum of One thousand Six Pounds Thirteen Shillings and Six-pence.

Resolved, &c. That the Blank for the County of Leicester be filled up with the Sum of One thousand Eightyfour Pounds Fourteen Shillings and Three-pence.

Resolved, That the Blank for the County of Lincolne, and the City of Lincolne, be filled up with the Sum of Five-and-twenty hundred Seventy-five Pounds and Two Shillings.

The Matter touching the Ease of the City of London being debated;

Resolved, &c. That the Sum of Five hundred Pounds per mensem be taken off from the Medium of the City of London.

Resolved, &c. That the Debate of the Matter touching the Five hundred Pounds Ease given to the City of London be adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock.

Kirkby's Claim.

Ordered, That these Members following be added to the Committee to which the Bill for satisfying a just Debt, due to Colonel Richard Kirkby, from Henry Nevill Esquire, was committed; viz. Sir Tho. Meres, Sir Fulke Lucy, Colonel Birch, Sir Rich. Temple, Sir Edw. Moseley, Sir John Knight.
