Ordered, That a Bill for draining Lindsey Level be read on Monday Morning next.
Berkeley's Estate.
A Bill to enable Trustees to sell Lands for the Payment of the Debts of Thomas Berkeley Esquire, was read.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.
Northampton Ministers.
A Bill, brought in by Leave of the House, for laying a Charge on the Buildings in the Town of Northampton, for the better Maintenance of the Ministers there, was read.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.
Supply.
The House then proceeded to the Consideration of the Matter of the Supply.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
A Dispute arising at the Committee of the whole House, who should take the Chair of the Committee;
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
The Question being put, That Sir Richard Temple be in the Chair of the Committee;

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative.
The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the Consideration of the Matter of the Supply.

Sir Richard Temple took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Sir Richard Temple reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they had agreed a Vote to be reported to the House: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which being read, is as followeth;
Resolved, &c. That it is the Opinion of this Committee, that a Supply be given to his Majesty, for the Building of Ships, not exceeding Six hundred thousand Pounds.
Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, that a Supply be given to his Majesty for the Building of Ships, not exceeding Six hundred thousand Pounds.
Suppressing Popery.
Ordered, That the Two Bills for suppressing Popery be read on Monday next.
Supply.
Resolved, &c. That this House will resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the further Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
