Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of George Hitchcocke Esquire, Richard March surviving Executor of Thimas March, and Robert Mitchell and Charles Mitchell, against Two Decretal Orders or Decrees of the Court of Chancery, made in Two Causes; the one, wherein William Bird, by Bill of Revivor, was Plaintiff, against Sarah Sedgwick Executrix of Botry Sedgwick, John Sedgwick Brother and Heir of the said Botry Sedgwick, and the Petitioners, and John Upton, Anne Fountaine deceased, Thomas Yates, and John Haukinson Administrator of Thomas Green, Defendants; the other, wherein the Petitioner and the said Upton and Fountaine were Plaintiffs, and the said Bird, Yates, and Sarah and John Sedgwick, Defendants:

Lords Committees were appointed, to consider of the said Petition, and state Matters of Fact in this Case specially, and report their Opinion to this House.

The Lord Chief Justice of Her Majesty's Court of Queen's Bench, in the usual Manner, brought up a Writ of Error; (videlicet,)

Vigilantia, a free Ship, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to make the Ship Vigilantia, of Stad upon the River Elbe in Germany (lately a Wreck), a free Ship."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the Lords Committees aforenamed.

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Jermyn, Petition for a Divorce, Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Stephen Jermyn, of London, Merchant, and Stephen Jermyn, now his only Son; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the dissolving of the Marriage of Stephen Jermyn the Son with Sarah Bell, who, as alledged, is guilty of Adultery:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, to make good the Allegations in their Petition (as also Counsel for the said Sarah, if she think fit), on Thursday the Three and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock; whereof the Petitioners are to cause Notice to be given to the said Sarah.

Came's Petition dismissed.

The House taking into Consideration the Report of Mr. Justice Tracy and Mr. Baron Price, in Pursuance of the Reference made to them of the Petition of John Came and Barbara his Wife; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for making good the last Will of Barbara Opie, so far as it concerns a Devise of a Farm in the Petition mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.

Felons, &c. Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for repealing a Clause in an Act, intituled, An Act for the better apprehending, prosecuting, and punishing Felons, that commit Burglaries, House-breaking, or Robberies, in Shops, Warehouses, Coach-houses, or Stables, or that steal Horses."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Friday next; and that the Judges do then attend.
