Thomas versus Gardiner, in Error.

Upon reading the Petition of John Gardiner, Defendant in a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Snelling Thomas is Plaintiff; praying a Day of hearing the Errors argued thereupon:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued, in this Case, on Tuesday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant December, at Eleven a Clock.

Bp. of Litchfield to preach.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Bishop of Lichfield and Coventrie be, and he is hereby, desired to preach before this House, in the Abbey Church at Westminster, on Wednesday the Fourteenth Day of January next; being a Day appointed, by Her Majesty, for a general Fast and Humiliation.

Neville & al. versus Sir H. Johnson.

After hearing Counsel, for Richard Neville Esquire and others, Executors, and Henry Grey and Henry Fane Esquires, Residuary Legatees of the late Lord Lovelace deceased, upon their Appeal depending in this House:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel for the Respondents, Sir Henry Johnson and the Lady Martha his Wife, To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock; and nothing to intervene.

Intelligence received of Naval Preparations in France, delivered.

The Earl of Sunderland, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State, (by Her Majesty's Command) laid before this House the Extracts of Letters of Intelligence, pursuant to the Address of this House.
