PRAYERS.

Duke and Dutchess Hamilton versus L. Mohun, Privilege.

Upon reading the Petition of the most Noble James Duke of Hamilton and Elizabeth Dutchess of Hamilton his Wife, Daughter and Heir of Digby Lord Gerrard, deceased; praying, "That they may be at Liberty to proceed in a Cause depending in the Court of Chancery, between the Petitioners and the Lord Mohun, so as to obtain what of Right and Justice shall belong to them, by virtue of a Decree of the said Court, without incurring the Displeasure of this Honourable House, by reason of the said Lord Mohun's insisting on his Privilege:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Mohun may have a Copy of the said Petition; and Liberty to put in an Answer thereunto, in Writing, if his Lordship shall think fit.

Queen's Message concerning Scots Peers, to be further considered.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled; That on Monday next, at Twelve a Clock, this House shall be put into a Committee, to take into further Consideration that Part of Her Majesty's most Gracious Message to this House, on the Seventeenth Instant, which relates to the Peers of the North Part of Great Britain.

Yarmouth to Caister Causeway, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to make a Causeway over The Denes, from Great Yarmouth to Caster, in the County of Norfolk."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Yarmouth reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

D. of Northumberland's Privilege; Jarratt, Berney, et al. to be attached, for attempting to arrest Holloway.

Upon Oath made this Day, at the Bar, "That John Jarratt and David Berney Bailiffs, with George Wellon their Accomplice, did, on the Seventeenth Instant, about Eleven a Clock at Night, come to the Duke of Northumberland's House, in German-Street, and in a forcible Manner enter the same, attempting to arrest John Holloway, menial Servant to the said Duke, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:"

It is therefore Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, do forth with attach the Bodies of the said John Jarratt, David Berney, and George Wellon, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for their Offence; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir William Oldes, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, his Deputy or Deputies, and every of them.

Adjourn.
