The Absence of the Earl of Leicester excused, for Want of Health.

The Absence of the Lord Bishop of Bristoll, the Lord Bishop of Chester, and of the Lord Chandois, excused, for Want of Health.

L. Zouch allowed to speak sitting.

Moved by the Earl of South'ton, That the Lord Zouch, a Member of this House, and an ancient Parliament Man, of great Experience, not being able to stand, doth forbear to speak; his Lordship may be dispensed withal, allowed by Order of the House to speak, when his Lordship shall be so disposed, sitting; whereunto their Lordships generally agreed.

Robinson.

The Lord Chancellor informed the House, That one John Robinson, a Servant unto the Earl of Oxon. was lately arrested, since this Session of Parliament, contrary to the Honour and Dignity of this House; whereupon it was Ordered, That as well the Party who so arrested him, as the Party at whose Suit or Means the said Arrest was made, shall be brought into the House, before the Lords, to answer their Contempt in this Behalf.

Stewart's et al. Naturalization.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Naturalizing of Sir Frauncis Stewart, Knight, Walter Stewart, James Maxwell, and William Carr, Esquires.

The Earl of Arundell declared to the Lords, That he understood, that one Walter Morrall, a Gentleman about the Court, hath in Readiness, and prepared, Ten publick Bills, all, as is pretended, for the Good and Service of His Majesty and the State; whereof his Lordship wished, that due Consideration might be taken.

Hereupon it was Ordered, That the said Morrall shall and may bring and present the same Bills unto the Lords undernamed; who are assigned to take Consideration of the same, and afterwards to offer all, or such of them as their Lordships shall think fit, unto the House:
