Prayers.

Call of the House.

The House was, according to Order, called over: And the Names of such Members as made Default were noted down: And several were excused upon Account of Sickness; some upon Account of extraordinary Occasions; and some upon Account of their being upon the Road:

And the Question being severally put upon John Mitchell Esquire, John Lord Burleigh, Wm. Hayne Esquire, Morris Thompson Esquire, Sir Cha. Hotham, John Lord Viscount Lisburn, Christopher Tankred Esquire, Price Devereux Esquire, Sir Sam. Grimson, Sir Cha. Keymish, Sir Scroop How, That they be excused;

It passed in the Negative.

Ordered, That the Names of all the Members who made Default to appear this Day, be called over upon this Day Sevennight: And that such of them as shall not then attend be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House.

Ordered, That no Member do presume to go out of Town without Leave of the House, upon Pain of incurring the Displeasure of the House.

Ordered, That no Leave be asked for Members to go out of Town, but between the Hours Twelve and One a Clock.

Time of proceeding to Business.

Resolved, That this House will, every Morning, proceed upon publick Business, at Ten a Clock: And that no new Motion be made after One a Clock.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
