Sir Edward Turner's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for supplying a Defect in a Conveyance lately made by Sir Edward Turnor and Charles Turnor Esquire his Son, for the more effectual securing the Sum of Twelve Thousand Pounds, and Interest, upon their Estate."

The House being informed, "That the Lord Mohun was attending, as ordered;" agreed, That he enter into a Recognizance for Two Thousand Pounds, and his Sureties in One Thousand Pounds apiece, as follows; (videlicet,)

L. Mohun baileu.

"Carolus Dominus Mohun recognovit se debere Domino Regi Duo Mille Librarum, levari ex Bonis, Catallis, Terris, et Tenementis suis, ad Usum dicti Domini Regis.

"The Condition of the abovesaid Recognizance is such, That if the said Charles Lord Mohun shall appear personally before the Lords in Parliament, from Day to Day, until the further Order of this House, then this Recognizance to be void; otherwise to stand in full Force and Virtue."

Edvardus Comes Warwick recognovit se debere Domino Regi Mille Librarum, levari ex Bonis, Catallis, Terris, et Tenementis suis, ad Usum dicti Domini Regis.

"Upon Condition, That if Charles Lord Mohun shall appear personally before the Lords in Parliament, from Day to Day, until the further Order of this House, then this Recognizance to be void; otherwise to stand in full Force and Virtue."

"Thomas Windham Ar. recognovit se debere Domino Regi Mille Librarum, levari ex Bonis, Catallis, Terris, et Tenementis suis, ad Usum dicti Domini Regis.

"Upon Condition, That if Charles Lord Mohun shall appear personally before the Lords in Parliament, from Day to Day, until the further Order of this House, then this Recognizance to be void; otherwise to stand in full Force and Virtue."

Whereas Charles Lord Mohun, Prisoner in His Majesty's Tower of London, being this Day brought to the Bar, and having entered into a Recognizance of Two Thousand Pounds, and his Four Sureties in several Recognizances of One Thousand Pounds apiece, to the King's Majesty; upon Condition, "to be void, if the said Charles Lord Mohun shall appear before the Lords in Parliament, from Day to Day, until further Order of this House:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Charles Lord Mohun be, and he is hereby, discharged from his present Imprisonment in His Majesty's said Tower; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Lord Lucas, Chief Governor of His Majesty's Tower of London, and to the Deputy Governor thereof.

E. of Gainsborough's Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting Lands in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of the Debts of Wriothesly Baptist late Earl of Ganesborough, deceased."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir John Hoskyns:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Court of the Marches of Wales, to execute Judgements, &c. saved in the Act for taking away, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to execute Judgements and Decrees, saved in a Clause, in an Act of the First Year of the Reign of King William and Queen Mary, intituled, An Act for taking away the Court holden before the President and Council of the Marches of Wales."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Newcastle to supply with Water, Bill.

Sir John Churchill's Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to confirm the Sale of Part of the Estate of Sir John Churchill Knight, lately deceased, pursuant to his last Will, and Two Decrees of Chancery for Performance thereof."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Dean of Durham versus Corporation of Newcastle.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of the Dean and Chapter of Durham, and also the Answer of the Mayor and Burgesses of Newcastle upon Tyne put in thereunto, on Friday the Nine and Twentieth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven of the Clock.

New Forest, for Preservation of Timber in, Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing Counsel for and against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Increase and Preservation of Timber in The New Forest, in the County of Southampton:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, on Tuesday the Third Day of May next, this House will peremptorily, and without any further Delay, hear all Persons who shall think themselves concerned for and against the said Bill, by themselves or Counsel.

Sir C. Bradshaw versus D. Newcastle & al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Sir Cornwall Bradshaw Knight, from a Decree, and several Orders made in the Court of Chancery, in a Cause there depending, between John Earl of Clare now Duke of Newcastle and John White Esquire Complainants, the Petitioner, and William Bridges Esquire, Andrew Card Gentleman, and others, Defendants; and also in another Cause there depending, between Whitlock Bulstrode Gentleman and the Petitioner Complainants, and the said Earl now Duke of Newcastle, John White, and Andrew Card, Defendants; and from a Decree and several Orders made in the Court of Exchequer, in a Cause there depending, between William Sutton Gentleman Complainant, and the Petitioner Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the said Decrees and Orders:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Duke of Newcastle, John White Executor of Gilbert late Earl of Clare, Andrew Card, and William Sutton Gentleman, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and put in their Answers thereunto, in Writing, on Monday, the Second Day of May next, at Eleven of the Clock.
