PRAYERS.

Fawconer, Leave for a Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of John Fawconer Esquire; praying Leave to bring in a Bill to sell all or some Part of his Estate in Hampshire, to pay Debts; he having no Children, but hath the Consent of his Wife and Trustees:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner may bring in a Bill, as desired.

Lord Craven takes the Oaths.

William Lord Craven took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute.

Exchequer Bills, for renewing, Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for renewing the Bills of Credit, commonly called Exchequer Bills."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Address, that Captain Desborow may receive the Benefit of a former Application in his Favour.

"Resolved,

"That Captain Norris having lain near Two Years under a Suspension from his Command at Sea, upon an Address from this House to His Majesty, His Majesty be humbly desired to take off the said Suspension.

"And whereas this House hath formerly made an Address to His Majesty, on the Behalf of Captain Desborowe, that he might be restored to His Majesty's Favour, and his own just Rights, which he hath not been so happy to receive the Effects of; this House does humbly renew their said Address, That His Majesty would be pleased to give effectual Orders that Captain Desborow may receive the full Advantage and Benefit of their former Application on that Occasion."

ORDERED, That the Lords with White Staves do attend His Majesty, with the said Address.

Bp. of Litchfield to preach on the Fast Day.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Bishop of Litchfield and Coventre be, and he is hereby, desired to preach before this House, in the Abbey Church at Westminster, on the Fourth Day of April next.

Whereas Thursday next was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein John Williams is Appellant, and Katherine Williams Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Treaties to be considered.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed for taking into Consideration the Treaties now lying before this House:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Treaties shall be taken into Consideration on Wednesday next, at Eleven o'Clock in the Forenoon.

Box's Bill, for a Divorce.

Whereas Wednesday next was appointed for the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the Marriage of Ralph Box with Elizabeth Eyre, and to enable him to marry again:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be read the Second Time on Tuesday the Eighteenth Instant, at Eleven a'Clock.
